マイナンバー制度について（About the My Number System）

　個人番号（マイナンバー）は、日本国内での社会保障や税、災害対策の3分野で利用されています。住民票のある外国人（中長期在留者、特別永住者等）にも、来日後、初めて住民票が作成される際に、12ケタのマイナンバーが付番されます。
　The Individual Number (My Number) is used in these three areas; social insurance, tax, and disaster countermeasures within Japan. Foreigners registered as residents in Japan (medium-term residents, special permanent residents, etc.) will be provided a 12 digit My Number when you create a resident certificate for the first time after your arrival in Japan.
